Register at our link before the event to learn about the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) and why it is relevant to our advocacy. Learn what active versus reasonable efforts and culturally relevant services means. Learn about notices to tribes and their involvement in cases. Most importantly, our presenter Jill Holt, the Training and Education Director from the Nebraska Indian Child Welfare Coalition (NICWC), will teach us the CASA role in supporting the best interest of an Indian child as defined in the Nebraska ICWA. This training will not be recorded.
